Virtual Mailbox or OPO box implications for search

I am wondering about virtual mailbox and PO Box implications for Google. My understanding is that PO Boxes are not so good for google rankings - is that correct? Virtual mailboxes seem to require filing of an "Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent", form USPS 1583. This is different than a change of address - s there any way Google knows this, or is it just simply whatever address you indicate on you website, your citations and your GMB account? And with regard to changing the address on citations, is there a product that can be used to avoid the agony of changing address for all those citations by hand?

You can't use either for a GBP. Both of them violate Google's TOS. It's not a ranking issue, it's the business profiles will get suspended for violating the TOS.

Thanks for the response. I apologize I may not have made myself clear. I am moving to a virtual/executive suite type arrangement where I have limited office/conference room priviledges. They are asking me to sign a "Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent" - a postal service form. - so that my mail is received there. Is this going to be copacetic with Google GBP? This is, I would be listing my business address with GBP as this office address per the US Postal Service form?

OK thanks again for your response. The suite where I am signed up is saying, no, this is not going to mess anything up with GBP. I am having a little trouble understanding how this entire industry of virtual officing can survive if the arrangement means that TOS of GBP is violated.

I am telling you not do as a former GBP Product Expert. I specialise in spam fighting and reinstatements. If you don’t have a dedicated office with signage, you don’t qualify for a business profile. What you are asking about specifically violates the TOS.
