I am working with a potential client.

Two dentists. They share 1 office. Same address.

Dentist 1 has been practicing for 30+ years and will retire within 10 years.

Dentist 2 has been practing 20 years and has about 20 more years till retirement.

Merging them and having a new practice name is NOT an option.

They have their own staff.

Different phone numbers.

They are two independent business's with their own staff, equipment, everything, they just so happen to share the same office space.

They have two websites (which are duplicated exactly) that is like this:

dentist1dds.com
dentist2dds.com

On their websites they don't have a logo, it just says:

Dentist 1 DDS & Dentist 2 DDS

They both have Google pages that have never been claimed.

Neither have set up any citations or social media, but of course, some citations and social profiles have been created automatically because they've been in business forever.

When I do a google search for:

Dentist 2 DDS

instead of dentist2dds.com showing up, the url dentist1dds.com shows up.

I'm wondering what the best way to go about this one. Kind of complicated.

Perhaps a new url that is lastname1lastname2.com and then consolidating to 1 website.

And building all citations as Dentist 1 DDS & Dentist 2 DDS but I need some feedback.

In your opinion what would be the best way to go?
