So a PI client of mine feels quite happy with the amount of reviews they currently have, however, they share a building with numerous other PI firms but are the "top dog" in the building, but...

Client's reviews over time - total 107 reviews

Comp 1 reviews over time - total 82 reviews

Comp 2 reviews over time - total 81 reviews

Something tells me that these two are up to something!

So don't just keep an eye on your clients review growth, also keep an eye on your local competitions!

It works very well to go back and ask for a review later from the people who didn't leave one at the time of the original business. I will usually do this every few months (using a certain criteria) and often get 5-10 reviews left all in the same 2-3 day period.

I assume some of my competition does this too because I will see the same jump in reviews and when I scrutinize those reviews they are genuine.

Agreed, I found showing these visuals to the client a good firecracker to get them focused on reviews again.
