My guess is that the business on the left has consistent NAP and the one on the right has an absolute mess of inconsistent citations.
forgive my ignorance, but what is the speculation for what is driving the two on the right's great results?
Review volume
Does that benefit taper off after 150 or so reviews or do you still receive benefit obtaining more?
It's review recency and not the total review count.
Interesting. Have you controlled for other factors like competition, location, whether the location is open, etc.?
Jason's point is more that too many people still think NAP consistency is a crucial ranking factor, or a ranking factor at all.
There are other reasons to pay attention to it (especially on the major sources), but unless you need a move or a massive rebranding to go over smoothly, they are not related to rankings and there are many things more useful for a business's ranking.
