As a business and agency owner who's very hands on in the SEO side of our efforts, I used the cache:https://mysite.com feature in chrome daily. Now that it's finally sunset, I'm lost.

I know that Search Console gives you some features, test live URL, etc. but it doesn't really tell the whole picture in my view. I liked seeing how Google read a page in text. For instance, large spaces in text generally told me there was unneeded, bloated code, or unreadable code snippets in between, etc. etc.

In other words, I really miss it...

Anyone have a recommended tool/software as a replacement?

In Google Search Console (GSC), you can inspect the URL, run a Live Test, click on "View Tested Page", and click on the "Screenshot" tab. There's also a "More Info" tab that might be helpful, which includes things like page resources that couldn't be loaded, JavaScript Console messages, and more.

For a page that you don't have access to in GSC, try Google's Rich Results Test tool.

You can sometimes find a cached version from Bing. Not every result has it, but in the Bing SERP, if you see a carat icon next to the URL, there's usually a "Cached" view.
