Problems/Delays Getting New Referring Domains/Backlinks Indexed

I'm having a problem getting some new legal-specific prominent directory pages for legal clients indexed in Google lately. I do see that other attorneys on similar pages are indexed just fine.

From directory page publication to final indexation in Google, what are you all seeing as a typical time frame?

Are you doing anything special to help the process along? I don't normally do anything special.

Google used to pick up these pages pretty fast as I remember. Within hours - or a day or two. Now, not so.
