Testimonials On Website Linking to Real GMB reviews

Does anyone believe in the idea that putting up testimonials on your website that are real reviews on google my business? A good amount of my competitors in the area are doing it but wondered if that was considered a citation signal.

We do it for clients. I don't know if it has a ranking benefit per say but I would assume it would help with conversions.
