According to this article, a map can be made showing the exact location of every Pokemon around you. Clicking through to the directions, it appears rather convoluted to create a map. Having such a map would be handy to have if this craze lasts.

A business could at least find out what pokemon people are catching nearby. A boba tea place with nearby bulbasaurs being caught would have an easy silly sign and deal of the day to draw people in.
